OBJECTIVE

To promote the safe and efficient use of nuclear power, the IAEA supports existing and new nuclear programs worldwide, catalyzes innovation and builds capacity in energy planning, analysis and management of nuclear information and knowledge.

IRENA publishes detailed statistics on renewable energy capacity, power generation and renewable energy balances.

Provides up-to-date information on renewable energy technologies, their costs and cost reduction potential for all stakeholders.

INPRO is a project that supports its members in planning long-term innovations in reactor, fuel cycle and institutional approaches and related collaborative activities aimed at promoting the sustainable development of nuclear energy.

The operation and decommissioning of nuclear facilities and activities that use radioisotopes in science, industry and medicine generate radioactive waste. This waste must be managed in such a way that people and the environment are protected for extended periods of time.
